- I just bought a 3.1 ROM for my wife's 2000, so she can run Amosaic.

- Trouble is, all I get on powerup is a black screen and no booting!

- Nothing is fried on Amiga - it's back to normal when the original 2.04
- chip is replaced; no go when 3.1 is re-inserted.

- The chip orientation is definitely right, and according to the supplier's
- installation instructions no pin connections are needed for this REV 4
- A2000. Removing the accelerator does not help, so it's not the ROMS on the
- A2620.

- Other hardware installed: 1 floppy internal
- 1 HD floppy external (PowerPoint)
- 2091/SCSI harddrive
- 286 Bridgeboard with serial board.
